Online therapy, also called Tele-Mental Health and Video Therapy, may sound familiar, or it may seem like a relatively new concept to you. However, therapists have been using Online Therapy for years.

​Online therapy is a simple and convenient way to receive psychotherapy.

 

It is a wonderful alternative to In-Person (traditional) therapy sessions. â€‹

 

Online therapy provides flexibility and continuity of care in a variety of individual situations.

If you can answer YES to any of the following questions, then Online Therapy may be right for you:

 

  • Is difficulty with transportation preventing you from obtaining therapy?

 

  • Does your need for privacy, or fear of stigma and judgment from others in your life prevent you from seeking therapy?

 

  • Do you travel often for work or personal reasons, or have a busy schedule that complicates your ability to fit therapy into your life?

 

  • Do you live too far away from a therapy office?

  • Are your emotional struggles causing you to isolate yourself more than you would like (i.e. anxiety, sadness, trauma, phobias...etc.), and preventing you from receiving therapy ?
